The drive to deliver real value is a rare skill that IKE is lucky to have in its SVP of the Communications and Utilities Business unit. “Mike from IKE”, as some people may know him, has used his years of leadership, sales, and strategy experience to help IKE secure some of its biggest wins. Mastering the complexities of the pole industry to create that success is no easy challenge. Yet, it cannot be any harder than navigating the nuances of the global imagery intelligence community in his work with DigitalGlobe or mastering market development plans at Autodesk before coming to IKE. That depth of experience has made Mike an invaluable leader since his time here at IKE. As he works tirelessly to secure new business and develop a team to support our growing list of customers, Mike can always be counted on for an engaging discussion on his exhausting views on public policy. The only topic you may get more of a reaction from him on is University of Utah athletics. An avid Ute fan, if Mike is not in the office or traveling on business, you can likely find him engaged in helping the local high school athletic program or soaking up family time at the cabin in Utah’s Wasatch Range. Even then, you can bet he’s thinking of a way to help IKE customers derive value from its relentless pursuit to deliver information about their utility poles so they can save money, make better decisions and improve safety.
