Driven by grid modernization, broadband deployment, and an evolving regulatory landscape, the importance of risk mitigation in distribution design engineering is mounting.

For electric utilities, pole loading analysis (PLA) is more than just good engineering practice — it’s become a critical checkpoint, providing an added layer of protection beyond construction standards and reducing safety risks and liabilities.

Our team of experts will discuss common pole capacity constraints, applicable standards, cases of litigation involving pole loading non-compliance, and the benefits of standardizing on PLA software.

You will learn from structural analysis experts and a leading attorney specializing in joint-use and pole-attachment litigation for utility clients. Their combined experience offers the regulatory policy knowledge, operational experience, and technical engineering expertise needed to manage pole loading risk.

Why Join?

  • Understand common pole capacity constraints and how to address them
  • Explore cases of litigation involving pole loading non-compliance
  • Discover the benefits of standardizing on PLA software
  • Gain regulatory policy knowledge, operational experience, and technical engineering expertise needed to manage pole loading risk

We hope to see you there!
